Política André Ventura

In a program on the radio station Observador, the socialist deputy reported insults such as "cow" directed at female deputies, stating that these comments take place in the corridors or in the plenary, but with the "microphone closed", and said that "there is a daily hell, unbearable" of "permanent offense".

André Ventura challenged Isabel Moreira this morning to present evidence of her statements, at a press conference in Lisbon, and in the afternoon, in an electoral campaign action for the Madeira legislative elections, in Porto do Caniçal, he went further: "If she does not, we will proceed with legal proceedings against her".

"Because it was serious to say that Chega has this type of behavior when she knows perfectly well that her party colleagues have the same or worse behavior with us, and with me in particular", he added.

"If there is evidence, we will be here to analyze it, but now we do not make these accusations without evidence", he reinforced.

André Ventura also said that he is probably the deputy who has been most offended in parliament. "I have already heard, in addition to racist, pig, fascist, this entire parliamentary group called racist and sons of fascists", he stressed.

Addressing the PS and PSD, the president of Chega appealed so that, "instead of going around making the wailing wall in parliament, work, fight against corruption, [...] which is what the Portuguese expect".

"Do not play around or pretend that you are working and that you are attacked and offended. If anyone has anything, let them show it and we will take the consequences", he insisted.
