Pedro Nuno wants to block the entire Right by reinforcing presence in the EP
The Secretary-General of the PS, Pedro Nuno Santos, today defended the need to stop the advance of the right and the far right in Europe, reinforcing the presence of socialists in the European Parliament.

"At a time when the far right and the right are unfortunately advancing in Europe, we have to strengthen our presence in the European Parliament. That is why we are so committed to this campaign," he said.
The leader of the socialists joined this afternoon another campaign action of the head of the list for the European elections, Marta Temido, which took place in the heart of the city of Évora.
Questioned by journalists about the growth of the far right throughout Europe, the PS secretary-general stressed that the fight is against the entire right.
"The classic right is approaching and has appropriated the agenda of the far right. Therefore, it is a very important fight for democracy and freedom against the entire right," he said.
Pedro Nuno Santos highlighted the importance of the participation of socialist members and leaders in the elections of June 9, which he says are of great importance for Europe and for Portugal.
"It is very important that we manage to strengthen the vision that socialists have of life and society in the European Parliament," he said.
