Apple close to securing Club World Cup rights
Apparently, the company is close to closing a deal with FIFA.

After acquiring the rights to Major League Soccer (MLS), Apple appears to be keen on continuing to bet on soccer.
According to The New York Times, the Cupertino-based tech giant is in talks with FIFA to secure the exclusive broadcast rights to a revamped version of the Club World Cup — a competition set to take place in the United States in 2025.
Three people familiar with the matter said a deal between Apple and FIFA is close to being finalized, and an announcement could come by the end of the month. The financial terms of the deal between Apple and FIFA are not known, but the soccer governing body had been seeking more than $4 billion (3.7 billion euros).
It’s possible that the final figure will fall short of that target.
