Flooding in Brazil: Apple CEO Tim Cook ready to help
Losses have already reached 1.19 billion euros.

The state of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil, has been hit by heavy rains and floods that have resulted in the destruction of many thousands of homes. Moved by the tragedy, Apple CEO Tim Cook left a message of support on his respective social media page X.
“Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastating and tragic floods in Brazil”, wrote Cook, indicating that the ‘Apple Company’ is ready to support relief efforts through donations. “Apple will support local relief efforts”.
The National Confederation of Municipalities in Brazil estimates that the losses have already reached 6.4 billion reais - equivalent to 1.19 billion euros - and that this makes it the greatest environmental tragedy ever recorded in the Brazilian state.
