OpenAI to unveil Google rival early next week
Rumors indicate that the presentation will take place a day before the start of Google's annual event.

Reuters is reporting that OpenAI plans to announce a search engine early next week, specifically on Monday, May 13.
The publication says the information was obtained from "two sources familiar with the matter" and, if confirmed, means that Google could face a new rival in the search engine segment before the annual I/O event - which starts on the 14th.
Given that OpenAI is a company specialized in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and is known for tools such as ChatGPT, it is believed that this new search engine integrates this technology and could, in this way, threaten Google's hegemony in this area.
