'Lord of the Rings' Series Sets Return Date, Drops Trailer
The new season of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' will have a total of eight episodes.

Amazon has shared the first trailer and also the premiere date of the second season of ‘The Rings of Power’, the series based on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ that is exclusive to Prime Video.
As you can see in the ‘trailer’ above, the second season of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ will arrive on August 29 and will have a total of eight episodes. Despite the small number, it seems that fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work will have a lot to be excited about with this second season.
It is worth remembering that ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ takes place before the events of ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings, showing the origin of the rings forged by Celebrimbor with the influence of Sauron.
