Amazon's 'Spider-Man' Series to Star Nicolas Cage
The actor has already played the character in ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’.

Amazon has confirmed that it will move forward with a 'Spider-Man' series starring Nicolas Cage, who will play an alternate version of the character and who already voiced him for the animated film 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'.
As in this film, Cage will play Spider-Man Noir, an alternate version of the superhero who is also a private investigator in 1930s New York. However, unlike 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse', the series (simply called) 'Noir' will not be animated.
As reported by The Verge website, 'Noir' does not yet have a release date on Prime Video, but it is known that Oren Uziel ('22 Jump Street') and Steve Lightfoot ('The Punisher') will be the showrunners.
