Apple has announced that it intends to launch a feature for its iPhones and iPads that will equip these devices with eye tracking, thus making it possible to use them with just a glance.
The Cupertino-based tech company explains that this feature was created using Artificial Intelligence and was designed especially for people with motor disabilities, allowing them to use their mobile phone and tablet without hands or with the aid of accessories. All you need to do is move the cursor with your eyes, accessing specific applications by fixing your gaze on the one of your choice.
Note that this feature will be available to all iPhone and iPad users by the end of the year, and it is likely that we will be entitled to a demonstration as early as next June during the annual WWDC event with the presentation of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.
