Next 'Assassin's Creed' goes to Japan. Watch the trailer

It is the first game in the series to take place in feudal Japan.

Ubisoft has officially shared the first trailer for ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’, the latest game in the series that will take players to one of the most requested historical periods by fans - feudal Japan.

The game will take place between the late 1970s and early 1980s and will feature two protagonists, namely a ninja named Naoe (fictional daughter of the leader of the Iga clan, Fujibayashi Nagato) and also Yasuke, a well-known historical figure and a black samurai who was under the command of Oda Nobunaga (who will also appear in the game).

It is known that players will be able to freely switch between these two characters, which will certainly help to make the gameplay more diverse as it happened with ‘Assassin's Creed Syndicate’. The progression should be a little different from what is usually found in the series, with Ubisoft telling the IGN website that the campaign will be freer and that players will be able to deal with their targets in the order they prefer.

‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ will be officially released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and Mac on November 15.
