TikTok could become an (even) more formidable rival for YouTube
The company is testing a new longer length for its videos.

TikTok has confirmed to TechCrunch that it's testing the ability to upload videos of up to 60 minutes in length.
The test is reportedly available to a limited number of users, and it's unclear if and when TikTok plans to roll out the new time limit to everyone.
It's worth noting that TikTok has been gradually increasing the maximum length of videos that can be uploaded to the platform over the past several months. Users can currently upload videos up to ten minutes in length, with some creators reportedly able to upload videos as long as 30 minutes.
Needless to say, if TikTok does decide to increase the length of its videos, the platform will become an even more formidable rival to YouTube.
