Netflix Announces Docuseries Centered on Simone Biles

Netflix has announced that ‘Simone Biles: Rising’, a new documentary about the American gymnast, will be released shortly before the start of the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.
‘Simone Biles: Rising’ will show behind-the-scenes footage of Biles’s decision to withdraw from several events at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, citing mental health reasons.
“Four years later, Biles has a score to settle, and the docuseries ‘Simone Biles: Rising’ will offer an intimate look at the backstory,” reads the synopsis shared by Netflix.
The first part of ‘Simone Biles: Rising’ will reportedly consist of four parts and will be released in July, ahead of the start of the Paris Olympics on July 26.
