‘GTA V’ has already sold over 200 million copies
The game was released almost 11 years ago.

After revealing when it intends to release ‘GTA VI’, Take-Two also revealed that ‘GTA V’ - the last game in the ‘franchise’ to be released - has now reached the milestone of 200 million copies sold, according to the IGN website.
It is worth remembering that ‘GTA V’ was released 11 years ago, in September 2013, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and later also arrived on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. In addition, the online mode introduced with ‘GTA V’ also did a lot to explain the game's popularity.
Even though ‘GTA VI’ is still a long way from hitting stores, it is clear that the producer Rockstar Games and Take-Two are in no particular hurry to release it - especially when the latest title continues to sell so well.
