Apple plans to launch new generation of AirTags

Apple is planning to announce the second generation of its AirTag, small devices that - when attached to items like keys or backpacks - can be used to track their location.
The information is being reported by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, who says the new AirTags could be announced in the middle of next year. Given that the first AirTags were announced in April 2021, it is believed that the announcement of the new models could come around the same time in 2025.
Gurman says the new AirTags should include "a better chip with improved location tracking", which will certainly help make the system a bit more accurate.
