This Tuesday, the 21st, is when HBO Max officially changes its name. From now on, the streaming service will simply be called Max, a change that has already been implemented and that can be purchased by all members of the service.
In addition to a new 'web' version, subscribers to the service will also have access to a new application that will be suggested to those who log into the old HBO Max app.
It is worth noting that Portugal is not the only country where this change is taking place, with Spain, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden also receiving Max.
It is worth noting that, in addition to the original HBO series and Warner Bros. movies (such as the second chapter of 'Dune', which has just become available), Max subscribers will also be able to count on a wide range of reality shows such as '90 Day Fiancé' or 'Naked and Afraid'.
Note that Max arrives on the Portuguese market with two types of monthly subscriptions, the Standard with a price of 7.99 euros and the Premium for 11.99 euros. Subscribers to these two plans can also add the Sports Add-On for 5 euros, which allows them to watch major tennis, cycling and motor racing events.
