Cantanhede receives video game festival for three days
The municipality of Cantanhede, in the district of Coimbra, hosts another edition of the Street Gaming Cantanhede festival, from Friday to Sunday, with the participation of players from all over the country.

"This is an event that demonstrated last year that it attracts an intergenerational audience to Cantanhede, but mostly young people, which bucks the trend of the traditional tourists who visit us," stressed the vice-president of the local authority, in a statement sent to the Lusa agency.
According to Pedro Cardoso, "Street Gaming Cantanhede has entered the history of the municipality, reinforcing and highlighting the unique and catalytic role of innovation of the LOAD ZX Museum".
Quoted in the note, Marco Fresco, from MF/Gaming, who leads the event's promotion, highlighted in this edition the reinforcement of PlayStation's presence which, in addition to prizes, will also provide several kiosks with exclusive games for visitors to enjoy.
"But the big surprise is the fact that a band has been formed, Banda Level Up, specialising in game music, which will make its debut at Street Gaming Cantanhede," he announced.
With free entry, the festival is divided between a 400-square-metre tent, installed specifically for this purpose in Praça Marquês Marialva, and the LOAD ZX Museum, located a few metres away.
This is a joint organisation of the Cantanhede City Council, the LOAD ZX Spectrum Museum (promoted by the Geração Spectrum Association) and its partner MF/Gaming.
