In recent years, we have seen Capcom investing in 'remakes' of old titles in the 'Resident Evil' series, with successful releases of games such as 'Resident Evil 2', 'Resident Evil 3' and 'Resident Evil 4'. However, it seems that there are more old titles in the 'franchise' about to receive the same treatment.
The page @AestheticGamer1 on the social network X says that Capcom is working on 'remakes' of two more games in the saga, namely 'Resident Evil Zero' and 'Resident Evil - Code: Veronica'. The information was later corroborated by the IGN website, which, however, did not provide a release date.
The original version of 'Resident Evil Zero' was released in 2002 for the GameCube and serves to explain the events that are at the origin of the original game from 1996. In the case of 'Resident Evil - Code: Veronica', the game was released in 2000 for the Dreamcast.
It is worth remembering that even if Capcom has two 'remakes' of 'Resident Evil' in development, this does not mean that the Japanese producer has abandoned new projects for the 'franchise'.
The next big title in the saga - known for now as 'Resident Evil 9' - is already in production and should be announced in the coming months.
