Esta madrugada, as portas do Dolby Theatre, na Califórnia, Estados Unidos, abrir-se-ão para uma nova edição (a 94.ª) da entrega das estatuetas mais cobiçadas de Hollywood. A cerimónia dos Óscares contará com apresentador pela primeira vez desde 2018 - são, na verdade, três mulheres: Regina Hall, Amy Schumer e Wanda Sykes.

De recordar que o filme 'The Power of the Dog' - "O Poder do Cão" lidera a corrida aos prémios com 12 nomeações e Jane Campion tornou-se a primeira mulher com duas nomeações na categoria de 'Melhor Realização'.

'Dune' foi o segundo filme mais nomeado e concorre a dez categorias. Seguem-se 'Belfast' e 'West Side Story', com sete nomeações cada.
